Need for Speed: Rivals is cruising onto EA Access

Which is launching in 19 new countries this month.

EA's critically acclaimed driving game Need for Speed: Rivals is going to be on EA Access "in the coming weeks," the publisher has announced.

Other new additions to the Xbox One-exclusive service this month will will be six-hour trials for FIFA 15 and NHL 15 available five days prior to their release. Your Achievements and progress will carry over into the full game and EA Access members will get 10 per cent off on these games.

Elsewhere, EA noted that gamers in the following countries will have the option to purchase EA Access when Xbox One launches there this month: Brazil, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Chile, Colombia, Portugal, Turkey, South Africa, UAE, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Greece.

So far the EA Access Vault contains Battlefield 4, FIFA 14, Peggle 2, and Madden NFL 25.

Eurogamer's racing expert Martin Robinson was very fond of the ex-Criterion developers' maiden effort at the newly founded Ghost Studios. "What they've conjured up in their debut effort is a remarkable achievement," he wrote in his glowing Need for Speed: Rivals review.
