Microsoft's Ori and The Blind Forest delayed into 2015

Xbox 360 version coming "later in 2015".

Microsoft-published platformer Ori and The Blind Forest has been pushed back until "early 2015".

In a statement announcing the delay, Microsoft also mentioned that the game would now launch "exclusively" on PC and Xbox One.

The game's Xbox 360 version will then follow "later in 2015", according to a later message on Twitter (thanks, Lifelower).

Announced back at E3 in June, the stylish platform adventure is the work of indie developer Moon Studios.

Ori will tell a coming of age story, its creators have said, centred around a mysterious spirit who is raised by a bear-like creature.

"While we're extremely excited for all of you to get your hands on Ori and the Blind Forest as soon as possible, we made the decision together with our partners at Microsoft Studios that we'll need just a little more time in order to add a final layer of polish to - what we hope - will be an unforgettable gaming experience," Moon Studios explained.

"We want to thank all the Ori and the Blind Forest fans out there for their continued encouragement and their amazing support."
