Metal Gear Solid HD editions get release dates

MGS2 HD, MGS3 HD and MGS PW sold separately.

Konami has announced the release dates for the digital versions of its high definition Metal Gear Solid games.

These dates take in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PlayStation 3, PS Vita and Xbox 360. Pricing will be announced later.

The release dates in full:

21st August

  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition (PS Vita)
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Edition (PS Vita)
  • Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty HD Edition (PS3)
  • Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Edition (PS3)
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection MGS2 + MGS3 (Xbox 360 Games On Demand release)

28th August

  • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (PS3)
  • Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Xbox 360 Games On Demand release)
  • Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Bundle MGS2+3+PW (PS3)

These games were packaged up and sold as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on PS3 and Xbox 360 in November 2011. It launched on PS Vita in June 2012.
