LOVEFiLM service confirmed for PS3

Free movie streaming starts this week.

Movie streaming service LOVEFiLM is set to launch on PlayStation 3 this Wednesday, it has been confirmed.

LOVEFiLM's announced the news on its own site, which should come as a surprise to, well, nobody.

PlayStation 3 users with a LOVEFiLM membership will be able to stream thousands of titles for free as well as browsing its 62,000-strong library of DVDs, Blu-rays and games.

Among the movies available for gratis streaming are Tim Burton's Corpse Bride, I Am Legend, Beowulf, Let The Right One In, V For Vendetta and Mean Girls.
