Lightning Returns: FF13 – Wildlands Canvas of Prayers, Moonsoul Blooms, Mystical Meal, Dayring Blossoms, quest item locations

If you're not yet tired of the Wildlands region of Lightning Returns, there are lots of additional Canvas of Prayers quests to complete before you head off towards the game's finale. These are pretty simple combat loot quests for the most part - kill so many of these to loot a handful of those - but you might find it hard to track down some of the items. A Prayer To A Goddess

To get your hands on the Sinister Fang, seek out and destroy the Reaver who's located in the Grasslands and Aryas areas of the region. The Aster Protoflorian drops the AMP Chip you need, and you can find this enemy type in the vicinity of the Rocky Crag zone.

A Secret Wish

You need to loot a lot of Vibrant Ooze's for this quest, so head over to the Grasslands region and kill all the Miniflans you find. As for the Wonder Gel, you can get this particular item by killing Ectopuddlings - have a hunt around the Eremite Plains to find these thoroughly unpleasant monsters.

A Voice From Below

This one shouldn't present you with too much of a problem. You need to get your hands on 10 Monster Mince items. Fortunately, these drop from the Vali enemies which you should find in plentiful supply around the Jagd Woods and Grasslands zones.

A Word Of Thanks

You only need a handful of Wonder Gel to finish up this quest, so head over to the Eremite Plains and kill as many Ectopuddlings as you have to.

Brain Over Brawn

The Sinister fang you need for completing Brain Over Brawn can be looted from the corpse of the Reaver. Head over to the Aryas and Grasslands zones to find this enemy type.

Chocobo Chow

One easy way of fulfilling the requirement of this quest is to simply grow the Gysahl Greens that are needed for feeding the chocobo. You can only do so once you've completed the side quest called A Father's Request, however.

Digging Mole

If you've got a chocobo capable of gliding, head on over to the Rocky Crag zone of the Wildlands and kill the Rocky Crag Mole. The Chocoborel you need grows within the Jagd Woods, but you'll only be able to see it between the hours of 6am and 6pm. As for your last item, the pair of Luminous Mushrooms, you can harvest these from the same location, but only between the hours of 6pm and 6am.

Dumpling Cook-Off

Get your hands on the Monster Mince you need by killing the Vali enemy types found in the Jagd Woods and Grasslands regions. Green Leather drops from the horrible goblins who can be found getting up to no good in the Eremite Plains and Rocky Crag regions.

Echoes Of A Drum

Just like the quest above, you can find the Green Leather you need by killing the goblins who are wandering around in the Rocky Crag and Eremite Plains zones.

Emergency Treatment

Give eight Chocoborel and six Sweet Slugs to Cardesia in Jagd Village to get hold of a Chocobull. You'll need to complete the side quest called Dog, Doctor, And Assistant to get the Animal Potion you need, or you can talk to Tilda at the Research Camp. If you choose the latter option, note that you'll need to bring Tilda four Dayring Blossoms, two Moonsoul Blooms, five Googy Goo and 200 Gil.

For The Future

The AMP Chip you need for this quest can be looted from the corpse of the Aster Protoflorian enemy. Have a hunt around the Rocky Crag area to find it.

Forget Me Not

Every time you kill a Miniflans, you get a Vibrant Ooze as your reward. So go and kill eight of them! You can find them all over the Grasslands area.

Fresh Fertilizer

Triffid creatures drop the Goopy Goo you need for completing this quest, so just keep an eye out for them on your travels - they can appear here, there and everywhere in the Wildlands region.

Gatekeeper's Curiosity

This is another simple combat quest, so saddle up, get over to the Jagd Woods region, and kill Rafflesia enemies to stock up on Slug Sweets.

Hunter's Challenge

The only way to get your hands on the Green Monster Moss required for this quest is to kill the Chocobo Eater. The best place to go hunting for this creature is the Eremite Plains, although be prepared for a tougher fight than you had in your first encounter with the beast. We recommend finishing up as many Wildlands quests as possible before tackling these fights. Every extra little stat boost helps here.

Hunting The Hunter

As if fighting those first two Chocobo Eaters wasn't enough, the Hungry Hunter would now like you to go out and kill another eight of them. Hopefully you'll at least have a firm grasp of the tactics needed to defeat these creatures by now.

Moogle Gourmand

There are two ways of getting your hands on the Mystical Meal needed for this quest. You can either work your way through the side quest called The Right Stuff, or you can buy them from Chef Aryas in Aryas Village once you've finished A Taste Of The Past. If you choose the latter route, you'll have to give Chef Aryas three Vibrant Oozes and six Moonsoul Blooms.

Moghan's Plea

You can get Arboreal Spores by defeating the Dryad creatures located in the Jagd Woods section of the map. Don't go thinking you can use the enemies that spawn to get extra Spores though - only the monsters that appear at the very start of the battle will drop these quest items.

Moon Flower

Moonsoul Blooms can be found all over the Wildlands region, but - as the name suggests - only between the hours of 6pm and 6am.

Secret Of The Chocoborel

It shouldn't take you too long to finish up this quest. Just go hunting in the Jagd Woods between the hours of 6am and 6pm to get the Chocoborel items you need.

Sun Flower

You can get hold of a handful of Dayring Blossoms from the open fields by the station between the hours of 6am and 6pm. You'll also find them spread across the region, so the best advice is to complete this quest with a bunch of other ones, and simply grab the flowers you need as and when you see them.

Sylkis Secrets

To even pick up this quest, you must have completed the Peace And Quiet, Kupo side quest and have started The Old Man And The Field. You'll also need to go to the Adventuring Essentials merchant and pick up six Vegetable Seeds - they appear in Canopus Farms between 8am and 6pm, or in the Research Camp between 7pm and 7am.

You can grow the Tantal and Gysahl Greens in the vegetable plots, while you can get the Sylkis Greens by talking to Moghella and planting a Seed in the Moogle Village crop plot.

Two Together

The two different items you need to collect for this quest can be found growing all over the region, albeit at different times. The Moonsoul Blooms can be found between the hours of 6pm and 6am, while the Dayring Blossoms can be found in exactly the same spots, but outside of those hours.

What's In A Brew?

Head to the Jagd Woods to kill the Dryads and Rafflesia enemies who drop Arboreal Spores and Slug Sweets respectively. Your last ingredient - the Goopy Goo - can be found by killing the Triffids, who you'll encounter while wandering all over the Wildlands region.

Wildlands In Danger!

This is nice and easy and simply involves finding the right merchant at the right time. That means tracking down the Adventuring Essentials vendor in Canopus Farms between the hours of 8am and 6pm, or at the Research Camp between 7pm and 7am.
