Life is Strange is getting a Limited Edition retail release

Due in January for €34.99.

Dontnod's coming-of-age adventure Life is Strange is getting a Limited Edition retail release on PS4, Xbox One and PC, publisher Square Enix has revealed.

Available on the publisher's online store for €34.99 / $39.99 on PS4 and Xbox and €24.99 on PC, this physical edition includes a 32-page artbook, director's commentary, and a soundtrack that includes 14 licensed songs and eight original tracks by composer Jonathan Morali.

It's worth noting that the PC version is exclusive to Europe. Sorry, North America.

Life is Strange: Limited Edition ships on 22nd January in Europe and 19th January in North America.

Many of us at EG HQ were quite taken with Life is Strange, weird IKEA abominations notwithstanding. Our Aoife Wilson called it a "must-play" in her glowing Life is Strange review.

"I can't think of any other games I've played that have become huge talking points across a diverse range of players, tackled surprisingly dark subject matter with sensitivity and respect, and made me feel nostalgic for a time in my life long past while still damn glad I'm not a teenager any more," she stated. "Life is Strange has achieved so much more than anyone ever expected it to."
