Konami to fix PES 2012 stutter run bug

Update due in November.

Konami has promised to fix a controversial bug found in football game PES 2012.

The stutter run bug, as it is called, occurs when players hold down the sprint button for more than a couple of seconds, after which your player will stop suddenly, then start running again. This happens with and without the ball.

Today, Konami pledged to fix the bug, which was present in the PES 2012 demo, via a November update.

"Stutter run issue will be fixed in November," read a Tweet by PES team leader Jon Murphy.

Oddly, the stutter run bug only occurs on player one's controller. Fans have discovered it can be avoided by signing out of their user profiles on controller one, then signing back in using controller two.
