Kinect Sports Rivals captures your face with Kinect, David Tennant

And other videos from Outside Xbox.

Hello, Eurogamers! This week, GDC left in its wake revelations of glittering new game technologies, but forget DirectX 12. Forget Project Morpheus. Kinect Sports Rivals can turn your face into a terrifying virtual mask with the power of Kinect and presumably some timelordy magic from narrator David Tennant. Watch Rare's first Xbox One game pour Mike into the unitard of a Kinect Sports Rivals champion in this avatar creation video.

The week also gave us Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes, prologue to the eventual Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain. Yes, it's only a single mission, but it's an exciting open-world appetiser for what the series has become since Metal Gear Solid 4. Discover Ground Zeroes' "new breed of stealth" in Show of the Week.

Finally, this week we pondered the video game doctors who most spectacularly broke their Hippocratic Oaths. It's no wonder protagonists opt to bandage their own wounds and unbreak their own thumbs when in-game physicians are this violently loopy.
