Kid Icarus and StarTropics headed to Nintendo Switch Online

Pit stop.

Nintendo has named the next couple of NES games due for release to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers: Kid Icarus and StarTropics.

Kid Icarus, first released in 1986, is Nintendo's cult classic side-scroller starring winged angel boy Pit, who you probably know better from Super Smash Bros.

StarTropics, meanwhile, was first released in 1990. It's a Zelda-like action adventure with a similar top-down perspective, notable for being a Nintendo game designed specifically for western audiences. Its hero is named Mike, and you fight with a yo-yo.

Here's how they look:

Both games will be available via the Nintendo Switch Online app next week, on 13th March.
