Japan chart: MGS Peace Walker HD off to slow start

While 3DS sales continue to dwarf competition.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition got off to a sluggish start in Japan last week, debuting at number seven in the weekly chart.

Konami's HD makeover of the PSP original - which is being released separately in Japan rather than along with MGS1, 2 and 3 as in the rest of the world - sold 39,743 in its first week.

Sega's PSP manga tie-in Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Extend topped the chart selling 184,673 copies, followed by Capcom's PS3 button-masher Sengoku Basara 3: Utage at two.

Last week's number one, Super Mario 3D Land, fell to four, shifting 93,441 copies in its second week.
