Infinite Warfare's multiplayer beta kicks off 14th October on PS4

Xbox One to follow, not coming to PC.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's multiplayer beta will kick off on 14th October for PS4 players who pre-order the game, Activision has announced.

The multiplayer beta will be available for at least three days for Xbox One players who pre-order, though it's not been announced when this will launch on Microsoft's console.

PC players won't get a beta at all.

Beyond longer, earlier beta access, the other advantage Activision is giving PS4 players is free access to the VR add-on, Jackal Assault, which will put players in the cockpit of a fighter jet. That's due later this year.

For more on Infinite Warfare's multiplayer, you can watch 15 minutes of our Chris Bratt playing the game, which just so happens to contain robot dogs.
