Here's LeBron James in Fortnite
Hoop you've saved up.
Basketball pro and Space Jam 2 star LeBron James is the next celebrity coming to Fortnite as themselves.
LeBron James' appearance is timed alongside this week's release of Space Jam: A New Legacy, the live action and animated Looney Tunes film sequel in which he stars.
There will be two LeBron skins - Majesty, which reflects his King nickname, and one with Tune Squad and Casual styles, reflecting his Space Jam outfit and... I guess how he hangs out at home in shorts.
Fortnite fans have been expecting LeBron James for a while now, after he appeared in planning documents for the game published during the Epic Games vs. Apple trial. Originally, the skin was due to arrive last year (alongside a bunch of other delayed content, and some things like a Lady Gaga concert which are still to be announced).
Fortnite previously added a bunch of generic NBA outfits to the game back in May, and hosted a Harry Kane skin in honour of the Euros.
Last week, a real-life mural teasing LeBron's arrival was spotted on a street in Chicago, and quickly pounced on by Fortnite fans. It featured the game's name, LeBron's crown and the date: 14/7/2021. The mural was defaced to read "Fortnite is for kids", though was later repaired.
In case you haven't seen it already, there's a painting in Chicago hinting towards something happening July 14th!

There's speculation it might be associated with the previously leaked "King's Bling Quests"

Over the weekend, an in-game mural is being painted in the basketball court at Believer Beach. Head there now to take a peek.
The LeBron James Mural is now in the works over in Sweaty Sands!

We should see more progression in the upcoming days until the announcement!
