Hearthstone's Hallow's End event returns, feels rather familiar

Proudmoore of the same.

Hearthstone's Hallow's End event returns on Wednesday 17th October and runs through to the end of the month.

Players who login during the event will earn a free golden Witch's Cauldron card, and there's a brand new Tavern Brawl called "Monster Smash!" which will feature some of the Witchwood's most notorious baddies.

Hallow's End also marks the arrival of a brand new Paladin Hero which will be available to purchase as part of a special deal, which presumably lasts for the duration of the event. Blizzard previously detailed the hero amidst other recent changes in a previous blog post.

Everything else will seem pretty familiar. The Headless Horseman will make his annual pit stop in the Tavern Brawl and the Special Dual Class Arena will also be playable too. All of Hearthstone will be suitably spooked up with unique decorations, and a bunch of new Hallow's End emotes will go live so you can go ahead and greet your opponent's over, and over again.

If you're a fan of Hearthstone, then a Hearthstone themed pop-up book may be right up your alley - we didn't even know we wanted one until now.
