Harvey Birdman for US only

"Very unlikely" for Europe.

Capcom Europe has said the chances of us seeing the Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law games here are slim.

The publisher's American arm has just announced that a Wii version will join PS2 and PSP offerings in the US this November.

But, because the cartoon show on which they are based is less well-known in Europe, it'll be "very unlikely" the games will appear here.

Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is a comedy cartoon series shown in the US on Adult Swim. It follows the adventures of a firm populated by superheroes and characters from 1960s Hanna-Barbera shows, particularly Birdman and the Galaxy Trio.

What follows is tongue-in-cheek investigation and evidence gathering before striding into the court room and smashing your opponent's case - using whatever means necessary.

Devoted fans will be sore at the loss, then, especially given Capcom's success with Phoenix Wright. But there's always the import option.

Head over to the Adult Swim website to find out more about the collection of celebrated shows.
