Ghosts 'n Goblins heads online

Korean dev pillaging licence.

Capcom's rock hard side-scrolling platform game Ghosts 'n Goblins is heading online.

Korean developer Seed9 is doing the honours, according to 1up's translation of 4Gamer.

The side-scrolling format will remain, as will the mechanic whereby armour drops off the hero with every hit you take.

The biggest change will be the advent of a class system. Judging by the game art, there will be a ranger-type bow-and-arrow class, a magic user and the traditional knight in armour.

Ghosts 'n Goblins appeared first on arcades back in 1985. Since then, Capcom's ported the game to various formats - most recently iPhone this year with Ghosts 'n Goblins: Gold Knights II.
