Ghost of Tsushima - The Unbreakable Gosaku quest: How to get six keys and find Gosaku's Armour

How to complete The Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale.

The Unbreakable Gosaku is one of seven Mythic Tales in Ghost of Tsushima, tasking you with obtaining six keys from six occupied farmsteads.

Your reward for doing so is Gosaku's Armour, a relatively useful, if slightly niche set, but still one that's worth adding to your collection. Below we've explained on this page how to get all six keys in all the detail you need.

Once done, our Ghost of Tsushima Mythic Tales locations page can help with starting and finishing the other quests.

How to start The Unbreakable Gosaku in Ghost of Tsushima

The Unbreakable Gosaku Mythic Tale is available after you start Act 2 of Ghost of Tsushima. It's found in the south east of the Totoyama region in Akashima village.

Specifically, you'll find the musician Yamato in the south east of the village itself.

The Unbreakable Gosaku: how to get the six keys

You need to go to six different villages and free the prisoners there. Each time the prisoner will give you a key, and once you have six you can unlock the place where Gosaku's Armour is held.

This one's extremely straightforward, and you can actually collect the keys by liberating these farms beforehand anyway. Regardless, they'll be marked on your map for you, so just go to the farms clear them out and don't let the prisoners die - meaning it helps to use a bit of stealth to start off with, at least to get you close to the prisoner. There are bonus objectives but they can be ignored and usually aren't worth the extra time.

Ghost of Tsushima: Gosaku's Armour location

Once you've ground out those seemingly neverending farm quests, you can finally go claim the armour. It's marked on your map: a hill in Akashima prefecture, in the southern part of Totoyama.

Off you go! When you get there, be prepared for battle with another cluster of Mongols, who are easy enough to beat.

You now need to enter the door in the mountain up ahead, and do some platforming. It's all pretty simple thankfully: keep an eye out for the marked ledges and treestumps as usual, and you'll be just fine!

At the top, you can claim your prize: Gosaku's Armour, which increases stagger damage and restores health when you kill staggered enemies, which will work nicely when combined with the Heavenly Strike!

We've rounded up explainers on all seven of the game's Mythic Tales, so for more like this head to our Ghost of Tsushima Mythic Tale locations hub, where you can find the rest!
