The key word here, really, is craft. It's there, first of all, in the aesthetics of this, Good-Feel's second outing with Yoshi (or third if you want to be really picky and include the 3DS offshoot with Poochy). This a world of lollipop sticks and sticky-back plastic, where discarded cereal boxes stand in for rolling mountains and cardboard clouds are suspended on lengths of string; a world where Shy Guys blow into straws to keep ping pong balls afloat so that you can skip along them to your goal.
Yoshi's Crafted World review
Although fans are likely still caught up in the Switch redux of Wii U classic Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, Nintendo has promised original and even more cutesy side-scroller Yoshi's Crafted World, which lands on the the 29th March.
I can knit believe it! Nintendo just announced a pair of release dates it made earlier for Yoshi's Crafted World on Switch and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn on 3DS.
Yoshi's Crafted World will launch 29th March. It's an all-new game for Switch made by Good-Feel - the Nintendo-affiliated team behind Yoshi's Woolly World and Kirby's Epic Yarn - and the latest in the studio's line of cutesy side-scrolling platformers.
Speaking of which, 3DS port Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn will arrive on 8th March. It's a faithful re-release of the Wii original with some extra abilities and mini-games thrown in for good measure.
Adorable Wii platformer Kirby's Epic Yarn is getting a re-release for 3DS next year in the guise of Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.
Nintendo has seemingly inadvertently revealed the full title of its upcoming, long-in-development, Yoshi platformer for Switch - which now looks to be called Yoshi's Crafted World.
Yoshi for Switch (working title, obviously) was conspicuously absent during Nintendo's E3 Direct this year, and the company has now made the game's delay into 2019 official.
