Here's betting Akuma pops up at some point to ruin everyone's day.

Nintendo 3DS game Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D "performed solidly", Capcom has said.
"Make no mistake," said SEGA this week, "if one quarter of the people that usually pirate [Football Manager] switch to purchasing Football Manager 2012, the sales of the game worldwide would more than double." That was the eye-opening statistic used to justify Football Manager 2012 requiring Steam to play. In other words, more than 80 per cent of people playing Football Manager are doing so with a pirated copy.
In theory, fighting games should be one of the easiest genres to define - it's pretty much all there in the title. Two people trade karate chops, dragon punches and flying kicks until one is knocked unconscious or mercilessly killed, the only real complication coming from the clicking timer (fighters tend to suffer a cardiac arrest if they break the 60 second rule, you see.)
More Street Fighter could be on its way to the 3DS, series producer Yoshinori Ono has revealed.

A free balance patch for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition will release by the end of the year, Capcom has announced.

Let's put it this way: I've seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. And I nearly cried. The film wastes no time getting to business - there's a bloody war going on. Potter 7 Part 2 packs a whole trunk of crash, bang, wallop. Perfect fodder for a video game. Only, don't expect the official Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 game to Wingardium Leviosa above the usual turgid memorabilia tie-in fare. We'd be Stupefied if it did.
A patch for the PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will launch by Monday, 11th July, Capcom has announced.

Apparently some keyboards and gaming devices are not recognised by the game, re-mapping keys can crash the game, and Smooth mode drops important video frames.
Thank goodness it's the summer. When else would you get a game like Air Conflicts: Secret Wars? It's not even about secret wars! What a brazen beast! Secret Wars tackles the untouched topics of World War I and World War II. Oh they've been used before? Still, two wars for the price of one - no point separating them as they're basically the same aren't they? Oh they're not? Still, can't argue with an aerial combat game at budget price can you? Oh you can? Jolly good.
The PC version of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition launches on Steam this Friday, Capcom has told Eurogamer.
I hope you're not still paying full price for games are you? Eastern and western horror goes head to head this week, each supported by some big names. In the US corner, Fear 3 (or F.E.A.R. 3, or even worse, F.3.A.R.), supported by Halloween director John Carpenter and comic book writer Steve Niles.
Fist fifteen minutes.
When Super Street Fighter IV was released on console last year, some people bemoaned the fact it was a standalone retail release rather than DLC. But when you consider the avalanche of new content it offered - including ten new characters, four new stages, alternative Ultra Combos and dramatic changes to the general character balancing - it was clear that Capcom was offering a pseudo-sequel rather than a by-the-numbers update.
Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition, however, is an entirely different kettle of fists. Although it's allegedly the final act in the SFIV series, it's less of a dramatic overhaul and more of a methodical upgrade.
The most apparent addition are the four new characters who appear as tantalising bookends on the expanded character select screen, bringing the tally up to an impressive 39. In terms of Street Fighter mythology, Evil Ryu is Ryu after he's gone berserk, while Oni seems to be Akuma after he's progressed to the Super Saiyan level above Shin Akuma.
