Microsoft has unveiled another batch of titles heading to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, with Sniper Elite 4, OlliOlli 2, Rise & Shine, Sheltered, and Grip: Combat Racing all due in November.
Hot on the heels of the addition of game downloads to previously stream-only subscription service PlayStation Now, Sony has announced a raft of new games now live on the service.
Sniper Elite 4 has launched its next paid expansion and a selection of free additions - on the same day that rival long-range shooter Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is released.
Sniper Elite 4's paid DLC will provide the next chapter in mini-campaign Deathstorm - where you're off rescuing an Allied scientist from the clutches of Nazi sympathisers, while escorting a briefcase of plutonium. Sounds fun.
The game's free update, meanwhile, adds a new map, a Capture the Flag mode and a new Survival mission.
Rebellion's just announced a mini-campaign for Sniper Elite 4.
Two good games burst into the UK chart this week, For Honor top, Sniper Elite 4 second.
Rebellion has put out a new video of its outrageously violent, stealth World War 2 shooter Sniper Elite 4, and, yes, you get to kill Hitler again.
Rebellion has just announced a 14th February 2017 release date for Sniper Elite 4, which puts it within a month of the other sniping game I confuse it with, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3.
Sniper Elite 4 was expected towards the end of this year (so was Ghost Warrior 3 until yesterday), but Rebellion said in a statement it had enough on its plate releasing PlayStation VR game Battlezone in October (a game we really enjoyed).
"When we revealed Sniper Elite 4 back in March our plan was to release it at the end of 2016," said Rebellion co-founders Jason and Chris Kingsley in a joint statement. "However, we now know Battlezone will release in October as a launch title alongside PlayStation VR. That gave us a tough decision to make. Ultimately, we're a relatively small independent studio, and releasing two major titles in the same quarter didn't seem like a sensible thing to do."
Rebellion is prepping an all-new Sniper Elite, with the fourth instalment in the World War 2 series coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year.
