2016's Doom and the original Rage are now both available via Xbox Games Pass - their arrivals timed to coincide with this weekend's QuakeCon 2018 festivities.
We know Rage 2 won't have multiplayer but it will, id Software studio boss Tim Willits told me at QuakeCon today, have some kind of "social component".
Rage 2, id's collaboration with Avalanche Software, is going to be a strictly single-player game, with nothing by way of multiplayer diversions.
Bethesda has shown off Rage 2 gameplay for the first time.
The video, below, shows plenty of explosive first-person shooting. I sense a heavy influence from id Software's recent Doom game, with fast movement, lots of melee and zipping about arenas set within the open world.
This doesn't come as a huge surprise - Rage 2 is developed by Just Cause maker Avalanche in collaboration with Doom developer id.
Guns, mohawks and that weird little fidget spinner weapon thing - yes, this is Rage 2. Leaked last week, confirmed yesterday, Bethesda now has an official gameplay trailer for you to see.
We also now know a very vague release window - "2019".
Some areas of the game look a lot like the original - a sunbaked wasteland with glowy-eyed mutants and visuals straight out of Mad Max. But, this time, it looks like we'll be exploring a much bigger open world, with forests and mountain areas, and there's hints of the dayglo punk colour palette previously seen in the game's logo and teaser trailer.
