The latest Humble Indie Bundle is quite the bargain, offering a couple of Eurogamer Essential picks and more for a smidgeon of their asking price.
Two-player arcade game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is set for a PS4 launch on 9th February, developer Asteroid Base has announced.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is released on PlayStation 4 this week. Here's our review dating from the Xbox One and PC release on 9th September 2015.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a game about relationships. In the first instance, it's that old video game story about the relationship between objects and space: you must pilot your cumbersome blancmange of a ship through a tight warren of tunnels and asteroids, taking care not to deplete its shields in collisions. This much is familiar. Where the Canadian-made game develops the theme is in asking you to manage not only your ship's movement through space, but also (and simultaneously) your character's movement through the ship's interior.

Co-op action game Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is set for a 9th September release on Xbox One and Steam (for PC and Mac).
Priced at $14.99 (about £10), Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime places two players in a spherical ship where they must scramble around to take control of its various engines, shields and weapons as they defend against hazardous terrain and hostile aliens. Along the way they'll seek out and rescue marooned space bunnies, as intergalactic lovers are wont to do.
"With Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime we had a goal to give gamers a true co-op experience where each person would always be involved in the action," said developer Asteroid Base's co-founder Jamie Tucker. "We believe the game's fast-paced action and frenetic switching between the ship's various controls creates not only a frantically fun environment, but also ensures players never have to wait on their companion in order to stay busy. That said, players still to need to maintain healthy communication or risk the possibility of turning lovers into old flames."
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime has to be one of the coolest game titles I've heard in awhile and it looks like it's got the gameplay to match. Two characters - ostensibly lovers - must run around a tiny 2D space station manning turrets, lasers, shields, and thrusters in an effort to fend off nefarious aliens.
