Retro style arcade shooter Gravity Crash Ultra launches on the PlayStation Vita on 13th August, developer Just Add Water (Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty) has announced.
That's on the European PlayStation Store. It goes live a day earlier, on 12th August, in the US.
The game costs £5.49 / €6.99 / $8.99.
Oddworld developer Just Add Water's upcoming twin-stick arcade shooter remake, Gravity Crash Ultra, is coming to Vita this July.
A remake of its 2009 PS3 affair, Gravity Crash, this "Ultra" rendition has been "reworked from the ground up" to support enhanced graphics and lighting, 60 fps, and it adds all new content like more ships and stages.
Furthermore, players will be able to create their own levels - which is now a touchscreen-friendly process - and share them with the original game on PS3.
Retro shooter Gravity Crash is being updated for release on Vita.
Developer Just Add Water has "remixed and amped up" the PlayStation 3 version of Gravity Crash, which released four years ago, for Vita and renamed it Gravity Crash Ultra.
The game uses the Vita's twin-stick controls, its OLED display with the full 960x544 native resolution, and, like the PS3 version, outputs at 60 frames per second. There are 42 levels, seven of which are new, and, exclusive to the Vita version, an expanded ship selection, which JAW said will give beginners a fighting chance.
