PlayStation 4 exclusive Ghost of Tshushima drew comments last night during PlayStation's E3 conference from fans wishing that the Japan-set game would feature a Japanese language option. Today, in a press demo of the game attended by Eurogamer, developer Sucker Punch confirmed just that.
Sucker Punch's new Samurai game, Ghost of Tsushima, was announced at last year's Paris Games Week. At this year's Sony E3 press briefing we got a proper glimpse of it in action. This is a confident and stylish open-world action game with the occasional weird glimpse of DNA from Sucker Punch's previous Sly Cooper games visible in the blend of traversal and stealth.
Sony has announced the full timetable for its 2017 PlayStation Experience event, due to be held - and livestreamed - from 4am on Saturday, December 9th, in the UK. Notable occurrences include the first new showing of Media Molecule's Dreams in absolutely ages, as well as a chat with the cast of Uncharted and The Last of Us Part 2.
Sony readily admits that its biggest reveals of 2017 have already been shown at this year's E3 and Paris Games Week, but it does promise "a few stocking stuffers" during PSX's opening event. These will apparently include "candid" discussions with developers, updates on key titles, and special announcements.
Once the initial festivities are over, early risers will have a good few hours to recuperate, as the PSX panels don't begin in earnest until 7pm in the UK.
Sony's annual PlayStation Experience presentation now has a date and time: Friday, 8th December at 8pm Pacific (which, here in the UK, is the 9th at 4am).
