3D Classics TwinBee! Cut The Rope!

This Thursday sees the launch of a DSiWare version of Cut The Rope as part of the Nintendo eShop update.

The popular Chillingo physics-based puzzle game made its name on the iPhone last year.

Cut The Rope is joined by TwinBee, a remastered version of the 16-year-old Konami cartoon-themed vertical-scrolling shoot 'em up. On Nintendo 3DS it has 3D visuals and forms a part of the 3D Classics range.

Mystery iOS sequel out tomorrow.

Cut The Rope: Experiments, a follow-up to the smash hit iOS physics puzzler, drops into the gaping mouths of hungry App Store patrons tomorrow.

Developer Zepto Labs is keeping quiet on gameplay details though did offer the following statement about what fans can expect from the title:

"What on earth is Om Nom?! That's what millions of fans of the widely acclaimed game, Cut the Rope, have been asking about the cute little monster who eats candy like its his job! That same question has a mad (but not bad) scientist studying the little creature that mysteriously arrived outside his house."

Sequel for BAFTA-winning iOS smash.

First details regarding a follow-up to iOS mega-hit Cut The Rope have been let out of their box.

IGN has secured a few pieces of concept of art for the sequel to last year's delightful physics-based puzzler.

There's not an awful lot to go on other than a few glimpses of gluttonous protagonist Om Nom climbing out of his crate, suggesting a more expansive setting for the game.

Cut the Rope ties up three million sales

Free update incoming for iPhone hit.

EA-owned mobile game publisher Chillingo has another smash on its hands. Cute physics-based puzzler Cut the Rope has been downloaded three million times.

To celebrate, developer ZeptoLab is readying a batch of free content for the game. An update, due later this month, adds 25 new levels, enhanced visuals and improved scoring accuracy. Expect new animations, sounds and achievements too.

"We thank all of the amazing fans who have shared the joyful fun Cut the Rope offers with friends and family to make it a phenomenal success," said Efim Voinov, CTO of ZeptoLab.
