At first glance Bulletstorm is a bloody, bombastic blockbuster of an FPS – exactly what you'd expect from a developer under Cliff Bleszinski and Epic Games' wing. Subtlety, story and sophistication are not the point.
Bulletstorm is a game about shooting other people in the nuts and being rewarded for it. It's a game about kicking people into sparking control panels and watching as their limbs twitch and their eyeballs melt.

As boss of EA Partners David DeMartini is in charge of more games than seems possible for one person. There's BulletStorm, Crysis 2, Alice 2, Reckoning and Portal 2 (maybe) to worry about, and untitled games from Respawn Entertainment, Insomniac, Starbreeze and Suda51 to keep on the straight and narrow.
We're sure you would agree with Bulletstorm's assertion that it's "time to break out the awesome". Clearly there is a gap in the market for a demented shooter where you're constantly sliding around on your knees blasting mutant jerks in the nuts and quipping like Duke Nukem with an irony bypass.
