It's taken a while, but 2K Sports has released a demo version of Xbox 360 snowboarder Amped 3, which you can download now from Marketplace.
Ten-hundred hours. Having fallen 100 feet in a pink bunny suit, and ridden the back of a giant hot dog, I'm now collecting kitty heads.
Eleven fifty-seven. 200 people are stoked.
Fourteen twenty-three. A roasted pig's head on an extendable metal arm with a Brooklyn accent is telling me to go out and kill myself in order to publicise a brand of perfume. Apparently doing so will be "ill".
2K Sports is aiming to have Amped 3, NHL 2K6 and NBA 2K6 ready for the launch of Xbox 360 in Europe on December 2nd, the publisher confirmed today.
It's all a question of whether the games get through Microsoft's submission process in time, but speaking to Eurogamer this morning a 2K Sports rep said, "That's what we're working towards".
Of those, Amped 3 is probably the most interesting prospect from our perspective - it's 2K Sports' extension of the Amped Xbox series, formerly Microsoft-owned, and features seven new real-world snowboarding resorts.
2K Sports has released the packshot design for Amped 3 - showing us what the basic design for Xbox 360 game boxes will look like.
