9th October 2014
11th September 2014
The latest Humble Bundle is Telltale themed and it's a good one, offering 12 games for only $12 (about £8.40).
April's Games with Gold - i.e. free games for Xbox Live Gold subscribers - has one of the service's best offering's yet.
What a week for Telltale Games. In practically the same breath as announcing a "significant" investment from film and television studio Lionsgate, the developer also announced that its next game, a brand new IP, would take the form of a TV-game hybrid, made up of one part interactive gameplay and one part scripted drama.
When I think about the events that came to dominate the news this past year, two words come to mind - desperation and confusion. This was the year that political tensions, brewing for decades, finally bubbled over. And yet, as I thumb through comprehensive explanations of all the little steps that led to the formation of ISIS, of Putin's renewed bullishness, of the galvanization of class roles throughout the first world, it's practically deterministic. "Of course," I say to myself. "What did we think would happen?"
The Wolf Among Us, Telltale's episodic prequel to Bill Willingham's fantasy noir comic book series Fables, is coming to retail on 7th November in the UK.
North American folk will receive it on 4th November, which is a Tuesday, because that's how they roll.
This physical release will be available on new platforms such as PS4, Xbox One and Vita, in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360 where it's already been available digitally.
Telltale has confirmed on Twitter that both seasons of The Walking Dead will be hitting retail on PS4 and Xbox One in October.
Additionally, Season Two will arrive in retail form on PS3, Xbox 360 and Vita. Season One already did just that last year.
Telltale also revealed that The Wolf Among Us is coming to retail in November on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Cry Wolf, the fifth and final chapter in season one of Telltale's Fables-based serial The Wolf Among Us, is landing next week.
The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us have been confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One releases later this year, Telltale has announced.
This will include both seasons of The Walking Dead and these will be available as retail releases, as previously rumoured.
Additionally, retail versions of The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead Season Two will be coming to retail on PS3 and Xbox 360, just as the first season of The Walking Dead did last year.
