Developer Gears for Breakfast's delightfully old-school 3D platformer A Hat in Time is heading to Switch, and there's new DLC coming to PC next month too.
A Hat in Time is heading to consoles next week.
Over four years ago the cute, cartoony platformer A Hat in Time raised nearly $300k on Kickstarter, yet it remained stuck in development for ages as developer Gears for Breakfast continued to expand on its adventure. Now, over three years past its expected launch window, A Hat in Time is finally coming to fruition with an autumn release slated for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac.
The latest batch of accepted titles on Steam Greenlight has been announced with a whopping 14 games and a couple of non-game pieces of software to boot.
Wind Waker-looking platformer A Hat in Time may not have set any records on Kickstarter with its currently raised total of $205,404, but when one considers that its initial goal was a scant $30K, it's clearly been a smashing success.
Last November I wrote about indie developer Jonas Kærlev's gorgeous cel-shaded platformer, A Hat in Time, and now the stylish adventure has its own Kickstarter that's more than doubled its modest $30,000 goal in two days.
