Games of a Generation sale now underway on the PSN Store

Ghost of Tsushima! Final Fantasy 14! Metal Gear Solid 5!

A few top names in the gaming industry have already given us their thoughts on this generation's best games, but now Sony has made its opinions clear with a range of discounts in its own Games of a Generation sale.

They've picked out some of the biggest, best or most influential games to come to the PS4 in recent years and put them up for sale on the PSN Store. Having had a look through, I wouldn't say it's the most complete or comprehensive list you'd imagine given the title - but it does feature a few tempting offers.

Headlining the sale is samurai adventure Ghost of Tsushima with its first PSN Store discount to £43.44. Not exactly a massively enticing price, sure, but if you head to ShopTo you can pick up a £45 PSN Wallet top-up for just £37.85. Pay using that instead and you'll get a much better saving.

I've had a flick through and picked out some of the other more interesting offers in the sale. Final Fantasy 14, The Witcher 3 and Metal Gear Solid 5 definitely feel like worthy inclusions. Either way, do have a look to see if anything grabs you below or you can always browse the full list on the PSN Store.

  • F1 2020 for £32.99
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for £7.49
  • Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order for £29.99
  • Monster Hunter World for £11.99
  • Final Fantasy 14 - Complete Edition for £22.49
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition - Game of the Year Edition for £6.24
  • Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience for £3.19
