Game of Thrones Ascent hits iPad

Just in time for season four of the TV show.

Game of Thrones Ascent has launched on iPad - just in time for the beginning of season four of the TV show on 6th April.

The free-to-play social game, developed by Disruptor Beam, launched on Facebook in spring 2013. In it you play a noble of Westeros, customising your character and building resources as you ally yourself with one of the Great Houses.

The iPad version has reworked controls for the touchscreen and, as you'd expect of a free game, there are in-app purchases. 7500 silver, for example, costs £2.99. 200 gold costs £13.99.

Disruptor Beam plans to add new quests and in-game items as the TV show airs.

An Android version will be released "in the near future". Screenshots are below.
