Free RACE weekend on Steam

Full-game trial starting tomorrow.

Thursdays are rubbish, but not if you've got the power of Steam.

Tune into Valve's service tomorrow and you'll be able to download a trial version of RACE - The Official WTCC Game, for free! That's about as costly as a woodlouse.

This offer ends on Sunday afternoon, but you'll still be able to buy the game for a special celebratory price of USD 29.95 (GBP 15, EUR 23), with a further 10 percent discount for one week after the free trial.

Developed by SimBin, the Swedish masterminds behind GTR-2, it's the first title to really dirty its hands with the world of WTCC racing. It's got all the right cars and drivers, ten officially licensed tracks, plus support for a stonking 24 racers in multiplayer mode.

"RACE embodies the SimBin mantra of 'easy to learn; hard to master,'" says Henrik Roos, SimBin CEO. "Novices can get into the game and be racing immediately. And, with several game modes, the game remains challenging for expert drivers as well."

The free full game trial is available now to pre-load.

RACE - The Official WTCC Game was released last November and has received positive reviews. Saunter over to the game's website for more information.
