Fortnite Snowfall secret Battle Star locations from loading screens

How to find Snowfall locations and their secret Battle Stars in Fortnite.

Fortnite Snowfall is an additional set of Challenges to complete as part of the Season 7 Battle Pass.

The aim is to complete all Challenges from any given week. But if you complete 60 Challenges from across the season, and you'll also unlock an exclusive skin - which has yet to be revealed.

Not only that, but each stage of the Snowfall challenge gives you additional secret Battle Star locations and Banners to find from each Snowfall loading screen that unlocks.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Fortnite Snowfall secret Battle Stars and loading screens explained

Each completed stage of the Snowfall challenge - which requires you to complete all the Challenges in a specific week - unlocks a new loading screen. If you view these loading screens closely, it actually hints at the location of a secret Battle Star or Banner location on the map.

Finding additional Battle Stars in the game will then give you an additional Tier towards your Season 7 Battle Pass progress, while new Banners will give you new customisation options. Note that you need to have unlocked that specific loading screen before it will appear on the map.

When you have completed a total of 60 Weekly Challenges, the mysterious Snowfall skin - named The Prisoner - and backbling is yours.

The Prisoner also has its own secret unlocks - known as Fortnite Prisoner stages - once you have got it and fancy some extra styles.

If you were interested, Seasons 4, 5 and 6 had a Battle Star / Loading Screen skin too, named The Visitor, The Enforcer and AIM.

How hard is unlocking Snowfall? Though completing 60 Weekly Challenges across a season isn't too difficult, it can be time intensive if you've left it until the last minute. You have until the end of the season to unlock it, otherwise it'll likely be gone forever. Good luck!

Snowfall Battle Star location 1

Snowfall loading screen 1:

This is on top of the submarine location as hinted at during the Week 1 Challenges - which is on top of a mountain east of Frosty Flights.

Snowfall Battle Star location 2

Snowfall loading screen 2:

This is inside the second floor of the main building at Frosty Flights.

If you head into the blue door furthest east, then turn left, you'll enter a corner room with a load of computers seen in the loading screen. A Banner will appear here.

Snowfall Battle Star location 3

Snowfall loading screen 3:

This is once again in Frosty Flights. You'll want to travel to the two hangers, and visit the east-most one. Along the left side are a series of shelves. The Battle Star is on top of one of them.

Snowfall Battle Star location 4

Snowfall loading screen 4:

You'll find this in Happy Hamlet. Land in the middle of the named location - specifically, to the right (or east) of the clock tower - then go north. Now build up to the right of the Big Shots sign, and the banner will be up against the wall

Snowfall Battle Star location 5

Snowfall loading screen 5:

In the south-west corner of the frozen location is a cave opposite an island. Enter the cave - either from the entrance, or from dropping in the hole from above - and you'll find the Battle Star on the mattress on the wooden hut.

Snowfall Battle Star location 6

Snowfall loading screen 6:

Finally, a location away from the frozen wastes. Remember the Crown of RVs location at the start of the season? Looks like we're heading back. The banner is located right at the edge.

Snowfall Battle Star location 7

Snowfall loading screen 7:

This is next to the throne inside the castle atop Polar Peak. There are many doors into the castle - find one and make your way to the central section, where the Battle Star awaits to the left of the throne.

Snowfall Battle Star location 8

Snowfall loading screen 8:

This is found south of Frosty Flights. Specifically, south of an ice bridge but before the hill rolls down to where two ziplines are running to the base. The following video by HarryNinetyFour specifies the exact location:

Snowfall Battle Star location 10

Snowfall loading screen 10 is another look at The Prisoner:

This is located in the north part of the desert area, specifically across the road west of the race track. On the hill is a large tree - you'll find the Secret Banner at the base.
