Fortnite racetrack and dance club locations - Where to search chests or ammo boxes at racetrack and dance club locations

Where to find the racetrack and dance club locations in Fortnite.

Finding the Racetrack or Dance Club locations in order to open chests or ammo boxes is one of Fortnite's many Overtime Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 7 rewards.

If you're just getting started, our Fortnite Battle Royale tips and tricks can provide some helpful hints.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Fortnite Racetrack or Dance Club locations

You need to open a total of seven ammo boxes or chests at the Racetrack or Dance Club locations in Fortnite. Here's where to find these locations:

More specifically, you can find them at:

Desert racetrack to the north of Paradise Palms. You can see it on the map quite easily - it's hard to miss:

Derelict mansion with the dance off basement, just north of the racetrack - opening chests or ammo boxes anywhere in the building seems to work:

Warehouse in the unnamed location north and more-or-less in-between Happy Hamlet and Lucky Landing on the map:

Racetrack east of Junk Junction, where you'll find a start finish line and a hard-to-see track in the grass all around:

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist themed season, we have guides on how to alert a Securitry Camera, secure data from Forecast Towers and destroy weakened walls or security gates. There's also a new Victory Umbrella! Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are, the current Augments, how to get XP fast, use the best PC settings and earn a Victory Crown.

What else do you need to know about where to search chests or ammo boxes at a Racetrack or Dance Club?

This is, thankfully, a nice and easy task.

All you need to do is open a total of seven ammo boxes or chests, and it doesn't appear that you need to do so in one match.

We detail how to identify chests and ammo boxes - and even how to open seven in one game - in our dedicated Fortnite search chests and ammo boxes guide, but the main thing to note, for chests in particular, is that they'll be making that familiar glittery sound when you're near.

Try to avoid getting spotted, and maybe use an LTM (Limited Time Mode) to try this one out, as it'll give you much more freedom from enemies - and with the Racetrack or Dance Club being far away from each other on the map, you're almost guaranteed that one of them will be on your team's side.

Personally, we found that the derelict mansion north of the race track was the easiest location, because it was dense to explore and open things easily, and less people went there despite it being very close to the more obvious race track. The north-west race track not far from Junk Junction deserves a shout out, too..

Once you've opened seven in total, you're all done. There are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week though - so keep playing!
