Fortnite - Grab-itron locations: How to launch toilets with a Grab-itron in Fortnite explained

Loo-sing ground.

Chaos starts in the bathroom. Here's how to launch toilets with a Grab-itron in Fortnite.

Launch toilets with a Grab-itron is one of this week's epic quests in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7.

This challenge went live during Week 9 of this season, joining other epic quests such as dance on an abductor or as a passenger on a saucer and carry an alien sample from a Satellite Station's Dish to an entrance of Corny Complex.

This one in particular asks you to use one of the latest alien weapons added to the game, the Grab-itron, and launch a total of two toilets with it.

Completing this challenge will reward you with 30k XP to help you unlock more Battle Stars for the Season 7 battle pass.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 4 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Grind Rails and Kinetic Blades, along with the new Battle Pass, character collection and Eren Jaeger skin. It's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Grab-itron locations in Fortnite explained

Much like the presence of alien nanites a couple weeks ago, the Grab-itron doesn't have any fixed spots.

This is how the Grab-itron looks in-game.

The Grab-itron can be found:

  • Spawning on the ground
  • Inside chests
  • On top of Abductors
  • Inside the mothership

In our experience, abductors were nowhere to be found, so we couldn't get neither on top of them to search for loot nor get inside the mothership. This may change during the next few days, but as of now, you have better chances to find the alien device as ground loot.

We stumbled upon one inside a chest in a backyard of Retail Row, but again, it's just a matter of luck and patience.

Once you've gotten your hands on one, it's time to look for toilets nearby.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 is here! To help you get started with this heist themed season, we have guides on how to alert a Securitry Camera, secure data from Forecast Towers and destroy weakened walls or security gates. There's also a new Victory Umbrella! Meanwhile, learn what the best weapons are, the current Augments, how to get XP fast, use the best PC settings and earn a Victory Crown.

How to launch toilets with a Grab-itron

This is the core of the quest, and it's rather simple. The problem is that, since you never know when you're gonna find the Grab-itron, it's unlikely that you'll be next to a house or building with toilets.

We recommend heading towards named locations for this. Lazy Lake, Retail Row, Believer Beach and Pleasant Park have plenty of houses and buildings with at least one bathroom inside.

Luckily, one toilet is all you need. Even though the quest asks you to launch two of them, launching the same toilet twice did the trick for us.

Once you're near one, you'll notice the Grab-itron will automatically place a cursor aim on it. Press the fire button to get a hold of it, and then press it again to fire it off to the air.

We recommend to perform said action indoors (even though the impact might break the interior) just so it's easy to pick it up a second time and launch it again to complete the challenge.

That's all for this quest! If you happen to be near an IO base, make sure to carry an alien sample from a Satellite Station's Dish to an entrance of Corny Complex to complete another quest. If you're up for a new set of challenges, find out how to interact with the Rift Tour posters and how to use an Alien Hologram Pad on top of the Party UFO.
