Fortnite Jigsaw Puzzle locations - where to search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and caves

Looking for Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces? This Fortnite page can help.

Searching for Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces at different caves and bridges is one of Fortnite's many Weekly Challenges.

Completing it will give you additional XP to help go towards your many Season 8 rewards. Note you'll need to be a Battle Pass holder in order to undertake this challenge.

Note this particular challenge is no longer able to be completed. What's new? Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include red and blue lines on the Fortnite map and Rebuilding quests, including finding and destroying a IO Build Jammer. You can also learn how to get XP fast in Fortnite.

Though you only need to find a total over seven Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces, there are more to find across the map to make the search a little easier.

Here are 10 Jigsaw Puzzle Piece locations we've found so far - more than enough to complete the challenge:

Fortnite Jigsaw Puzzle Piece locations map

Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces, by virtue of them being hidden under bridges or caves, can't always be spotted from the Battle Bus, so you'll need to have specific places in mind and drop into the right areas to then search on foot.

Here's a closer look at all the Puzzle Piece locations where we've found so far:

Bridge on the river south-east of Shifty Shafts, on the west-side near the rock steps:

Bridge on the river north-west of Lucky Landing, on the bank and next to the column on the west side underneath:

North side of the desert, on the west-side of the bridge next to the Pirate Camp:

South of the desert, under the bridge along the river:

Tilted Towers, in the underpass next to the clock tower to the south, with the piece hidden next to the parked truck:

In a cave east of Tilted Towers, just south of the waterfall, looking west:

South of the Block, in the umbrella-shaped hole in the ground, where there's a cave on the south side to explore:

West of Happy Hamlet, in the "yet cave", which is a hole in the ground surrounded by trees on the right of Quadrant B9. It's next to the fridge inside:

Shifty Shafts, in the underground area. Enter from the north-east, go down the staircase and turn right, and it's in an alcove there:

North-west of Fatal Fields, in the knife and fork-shaped hole in the ground, Quadrant F8. Specfically go to the handle of the fork and turn towards the knife - smash a wood-panel wall to find a little tunnel that joins the two, and it's on the floor on the right:

North-east of Fatal Fields is a rock formation, directly diagonally up and right from the 'S' in Fatal Fields on the map. If you approach from the south, you can enter inside, and find a Jigsaw piece location on the right.

Also east of Fatal Fields is a rock arch just beyond a sunken part of the map (it's directly right of the S in Fatal Fields). Underneath that is the Jigsaw piece location.

South-east of Salty Springs is a small bridge among a network of paths. Underneath the west-most column is a Jigsaw piece location.

Lazy Lagoon has a Jigsaw piece location in a cave next by all the collection of the buildings on the east side. Search along the cliff edge in the middle of the town until you find several boards in the rock. Go round to see a bear on a hammock. Smash down the boards on the right to find the Jigsaw piece location.

South-east of the volcano is a small temple at the base of the mountain. Inside the shallow entrance is a Jigsaw piece location.

Lonely Lodge has a rock formation in the middle / western side of the named location. You'll find the Jigsaw piece location on the north side of this, in a small cave in the rock.

It's worth noting these locations will likely be pretty busy - particularly the areas where there are lots of other buildings nearby for players to loot as they go - so it might be better to just collect what you can while naturally playing and exploring, and dust off the final few later in the week.

Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived! New additions include the Prowler skin, along with the return of jetpacks and Choppas. As we enter Season 2's final month, it's a good idea to know how to get XP fast in Fortnite. You can also complete Resistance challenges, including collecting signal jammers and finding an energy fluctuation. Don't forget about the Seasonal challenges, which include planting saplings and call an Air Strike on a tank. Meanwhile Victory Crowns and the character collection have returned, along with a new Victory Umbrella to earn.

How to search for Jigsaw Puzzle Piece locations under bridges and in caves

For the Week 8 Challenges, you are tasked with the following:

  • Search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and in caves (7 total, 5 Battle Stars)

Back to this one though, and as the challenge suggests, mutliple Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces are dotted throughout the map.

They're only found in two spots - under bridges or in caves. It's also never quite clear with these challenges what exactly counts as a bridge or cave, but we've rounded up enough below for you to complete the challenge easily.

Here's an example of a Jigsaw Puzzle Piece in the wild - listen out for the little noise they make if you're struggling to spot them

Finding them is simple enough - simply head to anything that looks like a bridge or a cave and get searching, again with all the necessary specific spots listed below.

Once you are done, there are plenty of other Challenges to take on this week - including the task to Dial the Durr Burger number and Pizza Pit number on the big telephones and search the Treasure Map signpost and the X in Paradise Palms - so keep on playing!
