Fortnite Chapter 2 patch released, map shown

UPDATE 11.00am: And it's live! Fortnite Chapter 2 has been released.

ORIGINAL STORY 9.20am: Fortnite looks ready to emerge in its new Chapter 2 guise. The game's update is now downloading for PC and console platforms.
On PC, the update weighs in around 16GB. On PlayStation, it's around 9GB. On iOS, the initial download is 192MB.
To celebrate, here's the brand new story trailer which sees the game's black hole finally resolve... into a fresh version of the island. Four new characters explore the landscape... before a familiar sight appears.
Epic is yet to say when the game will come back online, but with its patch released, we're expecting it sooner today rather than later.
