First Bravely Default: Flying Fairy info

Promising Square Enix 3DS RPG detailed.

A few details on Square Enix's ludicrously-monikered RPG Bravely Default: Flying Fairy, announced at Nintendo's 3DS showcase last week, have dropped in.

According to an Andriasang report, the game is being headed up by Square veteran Tomoya Asano, who previously worked on the DS remakes of Final Fantasy III and IV.

It's a traditional turn-based role player with four main characters. You can expect random encounters and a jobs and ability system similar to that of Final Fantasy V.

The titular fairy is apparently some kind of companion that follows the lead character around.

Square has staffed up the project with a number of new faces who have not previously worked with the company. No word on exactly who these mysterious folk might be but Asano insisted they are "interesting people".

The title was one of the handheld highlights of last week's Tokyo Game Show. Look out for some more on the game later this week, and check out the delicious debut trailer below.
