Dedicated Halo: CE multiplayer playlist added to Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Play 2v2 like it's old school.

Five weeks after it launched, Halo: The Master Chief Collection finally has a Halo: Combat Evolved playlist.

Last night developer 343 updated the matchmaking playlist lineup to include the much-loved Halo: CE. The Halo: CE playlist is currently 2v2, a decision 343 said was based on community feedback.

343 disappointed many when, before Halo: The Master Chief Collection came out on 11th November, it said it would hold the Halo: CE playlist back.

But, as part of a recently-released patch aimed at improving the game's much-maligned matchmaking, 343 made gameplay improvements to the Halo: CE portion of the collection, and so, the playlist is now available.

The video, below, shows off Halo: CE 2v2 gameplay in Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
