Final Fantasy 13-2 DLC plan revealed

One or two updates every month.

Square Enix has revealed its paid downloadable content plan for Final Fantasy 13-2, promising one or two updates a month.

Each update will contain multiple items, producer Yoshinori Kitase told Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation (reported by Andriasang).

On price, Kitase promised a "good balance between price and the quality that customers will accept".

DLC includes costumes, weapons and enemies. It will be more involved, however, than just downloading an item or weapon.

It will be mixed in with play elements. For example, you will have to defeat a monster in order to get a DLC item.

Square Enix did not release any downloadable content for Final Fantasy 13, which launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last year.

"Regarding the DLC content, we feel that the final product is 100 per cent enjoyable... it's the complete package. So we're not planning any DLC at this time," Kitase said.
