Fights in Tight Places has some stylish turn-based fisticuffs

Knuckle down.

Looking like a mash-up of Superhot, Streets of Rage and Advance Wars, the stylish Fights in Tight Places seems to do exactly what it says on the tin. You're a suited assassin in a small area surrounded by enemies who all need a good smack in the chops.

But it also confounds expectations - by being a turn-based deck-building card battling tactics-inspired beat-em-up.

Confused? Here it is action:

Fights in Tight Places is being developed by the Bristol-based Ground Shatter Games and published by Mode 7 for release on PC and consoles later this year.

Most important of all, I think, is it looks like (at 1:03 in the video above) you can reload your fists like Henry Cavill did in that gif.
