Fight Night Champion dated

Make Haye in March.

EA Sports' boxing game Fight Night Champion will release on 1st March 2011.

That's according to the game's debut trailer, which you can see below.

1st March is a Tuesday – the day games release in the US. We assume it'll release on Friday 4th March in Europe, but we're checking with EA now.

In September gameplay producer Brian Hayes told Eurogamer the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 game includes a top secret new feature that's "the most innovative, groundbreaking thing that any Fight Night game or any Knock Out game has done".

He was on about a solo pursuit that's its own standalone mode, separate to the returning single-player Legacy mode.

Fight Night Champion is EA Sports' first ever M rated game. There's blood, realistic body damage and deformation, which sounds lovely. "Experience the violence and brutality that is true to the trade," says EA Sports.
