FIFA 15 holds off The Evil Within, Borderlands in UK chart

Meanwhile, F1 2014 swerves into 10th.

The Evil Within and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel have arrived in the UK all-formats chart in second and third places, respectively.

A safe position.

Bethesda's survival horror "comfortably" beat Borderlands, UK numbers company Chart-Track has stated, but neither title could successfully challenge the mighty FIFA 15.

EA's annual footy fiesta scored a fourth week on top, matching FIFA 13's similar four-week run.

F1 2014, last week's other new release, fared less well. It turned up in 10th place.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was pushed into fourth place, while Forza Horizon 2 was fifth.

Alien: Isolation was sixth, Destiny seventh, DriveClub eighth, and Minecraft: PlayStation Edition was ninth.
