Fatal Frame/Project Zero for Wii U in the works

Scared?

There's a Fatal Frame game in development for Wii U, according to Japanese magazine Famitsu (translated by Gematsu).

Tecmo Koei and Nintendo are said to be working together on the new horror adventure. A release date has yet to be announced.

To tie in with the game, a live-action film from Kadokawa will be released in Japan. A comic is also planned.

In Europe Fatal Frame is known as Project Zero. The last game in the series, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, launched on Wii in 2008 but never found its way onto these shores.
