Far Cry 5 - Long Range Lockpick solution

How to find and complete Far Cry 5's Long Range Lockpick treasure puzzle.

Far Cry 5 Long Range Lockpick is a puzzle you have to solve within the Holland Valley region.

It's one of many Prepper Stash locations you'll find throughout the game, all giving you rewards once you solve and figure out how to access them.

Long Range Lockpick solution

Location: Deep North Irrigation Reservoir

Rewards: $1,000, 3 x perk magazines

This Prepper Stash might seem a little complicated, but it's actually quite simple (if a little frustrating at times). To start your journey, head east from Golden Valley Gas and you'll soon end up standing near a reservoir.

You'll know you're in the right place because there will be a small bridge leading to a concrete hut in the middle of the water.

The Prepper Stash note for this side-quest can be found near the start of the bridge, on top of some boxes. Read it, then begin walking down the bridge.

The door in front of you is locked, so you'll need to find a way to unlock. To do this, you'll need to climb the blue ladder to the left of the door.

When you reach the top, you'll see a zipline leading to the shore on the other side of the reservoir. Jump up and ride the zipline to the other side. You'll land on the roof of your hut, and there will be a platform in the tree to your left.

Be careful of cultists in this area as there can be a couple of snipers patrolling nearby. There's also a road close enough for you to be spotted by passing foes.

Jump over to the platform in the tree to your left, then turn back to face the concrete building back across the reservoir. Aim through the window with a sniper rifle (or assault rifle with a decent scope attached) and shoot the door lock (a marker will point this out so it's hard to miss).

Now swim across the water, run down the bridge and open the door before the alarm stops ringing. Grab the loot inside, but beware of nearby cultists responding to all the noise.
