Far Cry 3 appears on retailer sites

New listings for a third instalment in the Far Cry series have been popping up on the websites of a couple of Swedish retailers.

GAME.se has Far Cry 3 down for a 2010 release for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Meanwhile, Webhallen is offering a Collector's Edition for 999 KR (around 90 quid).

It's not the first time we've heard talk of Far Cry 3 - back in November, Ubisoft scriptwriter Kevin Shortt said the game was in development.

Here's hoping there's an official announcement soon.
