Fallout 4 mods come to Xbox One in May, PS4 in June

And yes, there's a Horse Armour mod for your Power Armour.

Fallout 4 mods come to Xbox One in May, Bethesda announced. They arrive on PlayStation 4 a month later, in June.

Official modding via the Creation Kit is in open beta on PC now via Steam.

Bethesda's built a new system that sees mods uploaded to Bethesda.net. Mods can then be browsed, downloaded and installed from within the game. You select mods from the main menu and go from there. It all looks pretty seamless.

There are a couple of examples of mods in the video, below, including a nod to Bethesda's infamous The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Horse Armour DLC. That's right, you can download a Horse Armour mod for your Power Armour. Look, there it is below!

The Creation Kit, which Bethesda uses to build its games, is a free download via the Bethesda.net launcher. There are mod-making tips over at the Creation Kit Wiki.
