Excitebike 64 powers onto Wii U Virtual Console this week

On track.

Who says Wii U doesn't get games? Nintendo racer Excitebike 64 launches for the system's Virtual Console on Thursday.

Originally released in 2000, it was only the second game in Nintendo's Excite series but the first to bring it to 3D.

It also lets you sack off the racing and just punt about a huge football, so there's that.

Excitebike 64 will cost £8.99 or €9.99 when it arrives later this week.

Here's hoping all of the Wii U Virtual Console games carry over to Nintendo Switch, so your library of classic isn't left behind.
