EA Sports' new season ticket detailed

Season pass for FIFA, Madden et al enables $100 saving - but is it worth £19.99?

EA Sports has unveiled its second pass at a Season Ticket, a one-shot payment that unlocks up to $100 worth of DLC across series such as FIFA, Tiger Woods and some of those there American sports.

The pass, available for £19.99, unlocks a certain amount of content from the off, offers three-day early access to games and gives owners a 20 per cent discount on any forthcoming DLC for the relevant games.

FIFA 13, for example, will offer up 24 Ultimate Team Gold Premium packs to owners of the Season Ticket, offering up one pack per week for 24 weeks on the trot.

That's the same deal that's also being handed out to those who pre-order FIFA 13 and get access to the Ultimate Edition - so if you've pre-ordered FIFA 13 and don't have any interest in NHL or Madden, that £19.99 gets you a further 24 Premium Packs alongside early access and a saving on all future DLC.
