E3: Kojima turning to Castlevania?

Lords of Shadow listed as his next.

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima may be working on Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for Konami.

Industry pit-stop Games Press linked the project to Kojima's portfolio alongside the freshly-unveiled Metal Gear Solid: Rising (spotted by Eurogamer Spain).

Producer Koji Igarashi has apparently stepped down to make way for Kojima.

Lords of Shadow was unveiled at the Leipzig Games Conference last August and is being made for PS3 and Xbox 360 by Spanish developer Mercury Steam - of gory shooter Jericho fame.

A lone trailer for Lords of Shadow was released back then, and the game hopes to be out next year.

Konami delivers its E3 conference tomorrow. We expect to hear more there.
