DSi price drop confirmed for UK

Trade cost going down from 18th June.

Nintendo is lowering the UK trade price of the DSi by an unspecified amount on 18th June. How much the handheld sells for will be determined by individual retailers.

Prices for all DS models in Japan dropped this morning as the company introduced three new DSi XL colours to market.

The DSi price cut will pave the way for the 3DS to stride into the market. Nintendo plans to unveil-proper the 3DS at E3 in two weeks' time.

The DSi has a RRP of £149.99 in the UK, with online retailers currently selling the hardware for around £120.
